Downtown Sarasota Farmers' Market

Every Saturday morning, you'll find me starting my weekend at the Farmers' Market at Main St. and Lemon Ave. This is the time I look forward to the most during the week. Stocking up on my week's produce, having (in my opinion) the best cup of coffee downtown at C'est la Vie, and being surrounded by happy people with their dogs puts a smile on my face. Here are a few images of my favorite market this year. If you are ever in the area, this Saturday market is a must!

Thank you, thank you :-) Am very partial to mine, but am happy anywhere with produce, good coffee, and dogs :-)

Awesome Farmer's all those vegetables look great! I might sound naive...but what are cranberry beans?? Lol! That dog is just adorable!

Hi Michelle, not naive at all :-)

That was the first time I had ever seen them here too. I know them as Borlotti from living in England where they are more common, but first had them in Tuscany. However, I've only have them canned and not fresh so was very excited when I saw them. Unfortunately it was the worst thing I've made all year:
